This blog is an update of my new poetry book, titled, “Few Drops of Consciousness”. The title might hint that this book has got to do something with consciousness. But it would mean that the word “drop” is meaningless here – but this is not true. This book is, in its core, a dedication in general to fluid mechanics, and specifically to the aesthetics that water, drops, river etc. sprinkle to the reader’s eyes.
The poems are classified in ten different sections:
- Metapoetry: It consists of a poem on poetry.
- A search in the stellar: Poems on astrophysics, history of life on Earth, ambitions of human, space travel, space, meaning of love in the context of universe.
- Meditation: Connection between meditative process and spring season.
- Love: I don’t think any description would do justice to the topic.
- Philosophy, science, and love.
- It’s cerebral: Some astute, scholarly, and hard-headed poems on logic, creativity, arts, truth, logic and emotions, history of science, nature of reality, immortality and death.
- All about me: Poems on myself – to give an idea of the writer.
- Let’s get social: On social issues.
- Despairs, doubts, and desires.
- A budding love
